Homebuilder Financial Incentives

Homebuilders who participate in the Entergy Solutions High-Performance Homes Program can enjoy generous financial incentives based on the energy savings of the homes they construct. Read below to learn more about how incentives are determined, and contact us if you have questions!

2017 Financial Incentives.

Entergy will offer incentives to reward Homebuilders who deliver homes that meet current Program guidelines (kilowatt hour (kWh) savings). The number of incentives awarded to each Homebuilder is determined through a competitive bid and scoring process.

The incentive structure is designed to measure kWh savings achieved above the minimum Texas Baseline Reference Home. To be eligible for participation, a home must achieve at least a ten percent (10%) savings over the 2017 Texas Baseline Reference Home.  Incentives are then paid based on Tables 1-4.  The incentives in Tables 1, 3, and 4 are not cumulative.  Homes that meet the current ENERGY STAR® requirements are eligible for an additional fifty dollar ($50) incentive per home for certifying the home as ENERGY STAR®.
